Quality Improvement Specialist
A quality improvement specialist works to maintain working levels of quality assurance (QA) and improve QA in specific areas of a healthcare facility. This means quality improvement specialists serve an important role regulating company-wide compliance and evaluating the performance of current facility programs. If a quality improvement specialist uncovers inconsistencies or flaws in a process or program, they are responsible for reporting their findings and assisting with the creation of a corrective plan of action.
Job Responsibilities

- Measure and analyze performance metrics

- Maintain state and federal record compliance

Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a quality improvement role
- Proficiency with word processing software
